It's not that big but it's not that small either

Copenhagen

After seeing the crowds of tourists last night we were a bit wary of going on the walking tour today in case there were too many people, as we'd had poor experiences in the past with big groups.

There were over 100 people but fortunately we were split into five groups. We were a bit surprised to find that three of the guides were Australian, we weren't sure how it would go but as as the tour progressed we realised it was very interesting having one of our own give their perspective of the Danes, and how Danish society differed from ours.

After the tour finished we walked from the Royal Palace area to see The Little Mermaid statue. K was pleasantly surprised to discover the statue was about five times bigger than she expected from all the descriptions she had heard about how small it was (but it is still on the small side).

From there we revisited a few of the areas from the walking tour. The temperature was supposed to be 21 degrees but the wind chill factor made it seem much cooler, it was the coldest weather we'd experienced for quite some time!
