Our checkout time today was 12pm, but our bus to Havana wasn't scheduled until 3pm, so after a final buffet breakfast we packed our cases and put them into storage. Our wristbands were cut off so in theory we couldn't partake of any more food or drink, but we went into the restaurant for lunch anyway and had no issues stuffing ourselves for the last time.

Of course the bus was late, it was closer to 5pm when we finally left Varadero, and we didn't arrive in Havana until well after 8pm. This time we stayed in a nice casa in the old town for the night, and when we headed our for dinner the first restaurant we found was the one we had eaten at on our first night in Havana with the Tassie couple.
