Third attempt today to get the teleferico to see Cristo de Concordia - this time we were successful.
This statue doesn't have the same feel as the one in Rio, even if it is larger. The surroundings and positioning isn't as beautiful as Rio, the ares could use some landscaping and beautification. Then there are the signs telling you not to take the stairs as you could be mugged .... it's a shame the presence of a giant statue of Christ isn't enough to shame the thieves into doing something else....
